Roebuck Theatre Concerts Access & Security Policy

The Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS) staff, directed by the Unit Security Officer at HMS Raleigh, controls access to and from the establishment.

For quick and easy entry to the concert, all audience members must carry their tickets for access into the establishment. Access to HMS Raleigh before 1845 is not permitted to ensure the necessary security provisions are in place. Upon entry to the establishment, all members of the public and their vehicles are subject to search.

To facilitate entry, we request that all audience members carry an additional form of identification, such as a passport, driving license, or bank card, to present along with their tickets upon arrival.

Travelling by Car or Public Transport

For those arriving by car, please provide vehicle details, including all occupants, during the ticket booking process. Failure to comply may lead to the vehicle being denied entry upon arrival at HMS Raleigh. If there are changes to vehicle details, contact The Ticket Store promptly for assistance. The deadline for such changes is 1100 on the concert day, ensuring accurate information at HMS Raleigh as the audience arrives.

Car attendees will enter HMS Raleigh through the main gate, directed to park on the main parade ground before proceeding to the theatre. The speed limit on HMS Raleigh is 10mph, and utmost consideration must be given to marching troops; overtaking them is strictly prohibited.

Limited disabled parking spaces near the theatre are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If all spaces are occupied, disabled attendees can be dropped off at the theatre before the vehicle proceeds to park on the main parade ground.

For those using public transport, taxis, or walking, please arrive at the main gate and access HMS Raleigh on foot. Uniformed sentries throughout the establishment will guide you to the Roebuck Theatre.

The MPGS reserves the right to deny entry to HMS Raleigh to preserve the security of the establishment. Failure to adhere to the above conditions may result in refusal of entry and potential banning from subsequent concerts at HMS Raleigh.
